First visit today and it was due to Alex Briseno now working at this location. I am glad I found him after Blanco Eye Works closed as he is amazing and a true professional!

Hill Country Vision Center has been great. This was my first experience with this location, and the staff really went above and beyond. I found a great set of glasses, and Alex helped make sure they were perfect for me. I really appreciate their thorough attention to detail and follow through on customer service to ensure I was happy with the prescription and glasses I received.

Today, I went to get glasses, and Izzy assisted me. He was very helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. I was able to purchase three pairs of glasses, and he helped me with insurance inquiries and any discounts available. They have a huge selection, ranging from basic to luxury brands. When you go in, I highly recommend asking for Izzy; he is great!

Great experience at this Vision Center. The location is convenient, the online scheduling system was easy to use, and there were plenty of appointment times available. Dr. Patel was friendly and knowledgeable, making the eye exam quick and comfortable. The best part was working with Alex to choose my glasses. They have a huge selection of frames, and Alex is an expert at helping you find styles that fit your face perfectly and making sure the prescription in the lenses is just right so you can see clearly. Highly recommend!

Met with Dr. Green about my sudden double vision. He was very professional and knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations for the next steps to resolve the problem. I was very impressed.

Dr. Pital was very knowledgeable on eyes and liked sharing fun facts throughout our time. The staff was friendly and helped me with completing the exam process and didn't push for me to buy glasses in that moment as I only wanted an exam at the time. Amazing experience and outstanding teamwork! From the moment I walked in, the staff went above and beyond. One of them immediately noticed a missing nose piece on my old glasses—glasses I didn’t even buy there—and replaced both nose pieces on the spot. When I came back to pick up my new glasses, I noticed they were super blurry. Before it became an issue, her coworker jumped in, realized the lenses had been swapped, and fixed everything right away. The whole team was friendly, sharp, and incredibly professional. This is exactly what great customer service and teamwork look like! Highly recommend

The staff, beyond Dr. Greenan and Rene, are also very courteous and helpful, whether it's assisting with frame selection or processing paperwork. They seem to have a strong team dynamic that benefits the patient. I felt that my time was respected, and the entire process, from check-in to check-out, was seamless.

Blanco Eye Works was fabulous until they let go of Dr. Kip Orbeck. He was and is the very best. He and Candy get the 5 stars. Those 2 men are the best and I will be looking for a new vision care specialist for next year.

Impressed by the doctor. I have been wearing glasses since age 4. I have had doctors that did not impress me. This doctor has solutions for aging eyes. He also wears glasses and is older therefore he knows first hand about eye changes. The staff also were very cool 😎.

My family and I have been coming here since the mid 2000’s. We've always been happy customers. We changed insurance plans a few years ago and unfortunately they weren’t in network. I tried a few places and there was no comparison. I realized very quick how spoiled I had been by the wonderful owners/staff at Blanco Eyeworks. Recently, I was frustrated with wearing the junky glasses I got with my vision benefit. A few months ago I had decided to make an appointment to buy a new pair and just pay for them myself when I thought to check if they were in network. And they were!!! I was SOOOO happy to walk in there and see the familiar faces and knew I was finally back in good hands! Four out of five people in my family got new glasses within a week as well. Dr. Kip knows his stuff & is always friendly and attentive. Alex is the most knowledgeable person I’ve ever encountered in this business. He always knows what will look best on me. I don’t even bother to look at the glasses anymore. I just let him bring me a few to try on. Nine out of ten times I end up getting the first pair he hands me. Same with the rest of my family. Bottom line…Quality glasses, attentive service.

I'm a huge proponent of supporting local businesses and this place is at the top of my list. I knew going into the office that it was time to get serious about my eyesight and pony up to what I really needed and not what my old college budget allowed. I felt right at home here with every staff interaction. The technology at this office is unreal, they have an imaging machine for your eye that looks like it's made by Ferrari. I'm glad to have found an office in my neighborhood I can trust and that treats me like part of the family. It's rare in this day and age to find this type of customer service. I can't thank Dr. Orbeck and his staff enough for all the help. I look forward to doing business with them for a long time to come!

If you ever need some new glasses, or just need to get your eyes checked. Dr. Kip Orbeck is the guy to see. Kip and his staff are awesome. They are so friendly and not pushy. Alex does his magic on making sure your glasses look perfect on you. I saw Dr Kip many years ago for some new glasses and later went back for sunglasses. When I was away from San Antonio for awhile I had lost my glasses and went to see another doctor. That doctor was no Kip Orbeck. He didn't really care much about my prescription and his staff was rude. Last year I turned 40 and I noticed my eyesight was changing on reading small letters. I decided I better get them checked. I went to see Dr Orbeck because I knew he would take care of me. He said I'm getting close to needing bifocals but not right now.( I feel old now haha) He never forced me to buy the bifocals until I really need them. Dr Kip Orbeck your awesome and so is your staff. You make it easier to getting my eyes checked. Sorry this so long. (This is the little guy that came in on Saturday)

I can not recommend a better eye doctor than Hill Country Vision Center! My family and I came into Fredericksburg for a wedding, and the next morning, my (nearly blind) boyfriend realized he didn’t have his contacts! Worse news ever! After calling every local store, the staff at Hill Country Vision Center came to the rescue! They not only called his local eye doctor (which is half way across the country), they were able to get his prescription and wouldn’t let us leave without a solution! They were able to get him the contacts he needed and completely saved us! The staff at Hill Country Vision Center saved our vacation! They were kind, beyond amazing, and truly, saved us! Thank you Hill Country Vision Center! I would recommend them to anyone in the area!!

Amazing service today at Hill Country Vision Center. We are wintering for 3 months in Fredericksburg. This is our first week here and my husband accidentally stepped on his glasses and snapped the fish line that holds the lens. They were so helpful and courteous.we called and they said come on in. Dr. Juett was very thorough and took the time to make sure my prescription was correct. All the other staff members were friendly and very helpful as well. We highly recommend using them for your vision needs.

As a nurse I really appreciated the professionalism of the staff, the incredible knowledge base of Dr Juett, and the cleanliness of the facility. Dr Juett took the time to listen to my requests and develop a plan of care to suit my vision needs. He was extremely knowledgeable and up to date on current trends. Gabby, his assistant, was also wonderful and caring. Elsa was able to help me choose the frames I needed and was so knowledgeable herself… She was able to answer all of my questions…I felt I was in the best hands ever. Loved that I didn't need my eyes dilated - just a quick scan of each eye instead and I got to see my own Peepers which was quite interesting. I’m new to Bulverde and needed to get set up with an eye doctor in this area. Hill County Vision provides excellent service with a friendly environment. Everyone was warm and welcoming and Dr. Forrest was the same! She’s fantastic and took time to discuss my eye health and what options were available for me. 10/10 recommend!!

We are very pleased and satisfied with the Service we received on my 16 year old son exam and new glasses! The stock of up to date and chic frames is very extensive! And the promotions in place, made it so convenient to get 2 pair of glasses 👓 (as a back up!)! We highly recommend them, their staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and made us feel welcome.

When I say good things come in small packages, I mean that hometown, warm, local small package that just takes care of you. I purchased lenses here after my eye exam and had a few difficulties in the right placement for progressive lenses. When I tell you these folks DID EVERYTHING to make it right, I mean, EVERYTHING! From the moment I called to ask some questions and schedule, all the way through walking in the door of the lovely building, being greeted by everyone, prescreening, exam and glasses consultation, everyone here was so pleasant, friendly, professional, and eager to serve. I like to ask questions and understand things and was never treated like my questions were a bother. You can tell they love their clients here! After lesser experiences at two other clinics in town, I can happily say we have found our family eye clinic at Hill Country Vision!

Went in this morning for my first eye exam in 12+ years and had a great experience. Dr Arrieta made the exam painless and quick. They have a great selection of new frames and the staff customizes really well. Great place to get your eye maintenance done.

Just ask for Renee when you arrive . I didn’t have an appt and needed eye care right away . I didn’t even wait ten minutes and they put me in a room wow wow, wow all I need to say is this dr really listened to my concerns she had a lot of knowledge and understood what I was going through she ran all these tests and figured out on the spot what it was. . I was out of there in less then 20 minutes. If you have an eye emergency go here ask for Renee she will get you all set up. She was very caring and understood and so helpful . This will be my new eye place Hill county vision they also have a huge selection of eyewear amazing place and amazing doctors. They know what they’re doing here. I wouldn’t go anywhere but here .
